LISN LED
With the advent of the digital age, the market demand for LED displays is growing. Some LED display customers have begun to shift from purchasing the entire LED display and services to purchasing all the display accessories and assembling them locally to save labor and shipping costs. So how to assemble and DIY an LED display that meets the needs of end customers?
LED displays are mainly divided into screen body, signal transmission and reception. So as long as you understand these three parts, you can DIY an LED display by yourself.
First, choose the screen body of the LED display. The screen body mainly includes modules, power supplies, receiving cards and some wires connecting power and signals.
According to the distance of the display, we choose the module spacing we want to DIY, and then choose indoor modules or outdoor modules according to the requirements of waterproofing and brightness. The quality level of the module generally chooses Guoxing module, Jingtai module, or Hongsheng.
Then determine the number of power supplies based on the number of modules. Generally, the power consumption of a single module is 10-40W. A 300W power supply can load 6-7 modules. Therefore, for a display screen with about 20 modules, we generally use 4 300W power supplies. We generally choose power supplies from Meanwell, Chuanglian and G-energy.
After determining the power supply, we need to determine the number of receiving cards. Generally, the number of points loaded by the receiving card is 256x128 points or 256x256 points. According to the number of points of the screen, we can calculate the number of receiving cards. The receiving card is part of the control system. Common control system brands include: Nova, Lingxingyu, Huidu, Colorite, etc.
After the screen part is equipped, we also need the signal sending part, which includes a computer and a sending card or a sending box. The control system software needs to be installed in the computer. As for the sending card, it is necessary to select a suitable sending device based on the number of points of the entire display module and then combine it with the control system brand.
When all the hardware is selected, we can easily DIY our own unique LED display. The computer to the sending card, the sending card to the first receiving card of the display, and the receiving cards should be connected by network cables, usually Cat6 or better. The modules are connected by flat cables. The rest is to connect all the hardware to the power supply and ensure that all parts are powered.
Then control the debugging software of the system and debug the screen, so that we can play the pictures and videos we like and complete a customized DIY LED display.
