General Specifications for LED Electronic Display Screens
1. Scope
This standard specifies the definition, classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for LED display screens. This standard applies to LED display screen products. It is the main technical basis for the design, manufacturing, installation, use, quality inspection, and formulation of various technical standards and technical documents for LED display screen products.

The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. At the time of publication of the standard, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards.

6. Inspection method
6.1 Hardware environment of LED display screen The hardware environment of LED display screen should be checked by visual inspection, and it should meet the requirements of 5.1.
6.2 Software environment of LED display screen The software environment of LED display screen should be checked by visual inspection, and it should meet the requirements of 5.2.
6.3 Structure and appearance The structure and appearance of LED display screen should be checked by visual inspection, and it should meet the requirements of 5.3.
6.4 Safety requirements
6.4.1 Grounding: The LED display screen should be checked by visual inspection, and it should meet the requirements of 5.4.1.
6.4.2 Safety mark: The safety mark of LED display screen should be checked by visual inspection, and it should meet the requirements of 5.4.2.
6.4.3 Ground leakage current: At 1.1 times the rated power supply voltage, test the ground leakage current between the metal outer frame of the LED display screen power line, and it should meet the requirements of 5.4.3.
6.4.4 Dielectric strength: When the power switch of the LED display is in the on position, 1500V (AC effective value) is applied between the power input terminal and the metal frame or accessible metal structure for 1 minute, which shall meet the requirements of 5.4.4.
6.4.5 Temperature rise: After one hour of operation, the temperature of each accessible point of the LED display is tested with a point thermometer, which shall meet the requirements of 5.4.5.
6.5 Performance characteristics: According to the different types of LED display screens, the performance characteristics of the LED display screens are checked, which shall meet the requirements of 5.5. For text and graphic LED display screens, the display test software is used to visually check the moving in and out mode and the display mode. For computer video LED display screens, the animation function is checked by visual inspection, the text display function is checked by comparing the LED display screen with the computer monitor, and the grayscale function is checked by special test software. In addition to the above-mentioned animation, text, and grayscale function checks for TV video LED screens, there should also be a video source to check the TV and video functions. For various market LED screens, the market display function should be checked using the corresponding test software.
6.6 Uniformity: The uniformity of the LED screen should be checked by visual inspection, and the requirements of 5.6 should be met.
6.7 Out-of-control point: The out-of-control point of the LED screen should be checked by visual inspection, and the requirements of 5.7 should be met.
6.8 Power supply: The power supply power of the LED screen should be measured with a wattmeter, and the requirements of 5.8 should be met.
6.9 Environmental adaptability
6.9.1 High temperature load test The high temperature load test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.2. The indoor screen is powered on at (40±2)0C and the outdoor screen is powered on at (50±2)0C for 8 hours, and the inspection is carried out every hour. Check the moving-in and moving-out mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point of the text LED display screen and graphic LED display screen. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out-of-control point of the computer video and TV video LED display screen. Check the market display function of the market LED display screen. All should meet the requirements of 5.5, 6.6 and 5.7. 6.9.2 High-temperature storage test The high-temperature storage test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.2. After storing at (60±2)0C for 4h and recovering at room temperature for 4h, check the moving-in and moving-out mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point of the text LED display screen and graphic LED display screen. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out-of-control point of the computer video and TV video LED display screen. Check the market display function of the market LED display screen. All requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7 shall be met.
6.9.3 Damp heat load test The damp heat load test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.3. The indoor screen is powered on and operated for 8 hours at (40±2)0C and relative humidity of 87%-93%, and the outdoor screen is powered on and operated at (50±2)0C and relative humidity of 87%-93% for 8 hours, and the test is carried out once every hour. Check the entry and exit mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point of the text LED display screen and graphic LED display screen.
Check the market function of the market LED display screen. All requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7 shall be met.
6.9.4 Steady humidity test The steady humidity test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.3. The indoor screen is stored at (40±2)0C and the relative humidity is 87%-93%, and the outdoor screen is stored at (50±2)0C and the relative humidity is 87%-93% for 48 hours. After the storage test, the ground leakage current, dielectric strength and temperature rise are measured immediately, and the requirements of 5.4.3, 5.4.4 and 5.4.5 shall be met. After 4 hours of recovery at room temperature, the text LED display screen and graphic LED display screen are checked for the moving-in and moving-out mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point. The computer video and TV video LED display screens are checked for the moving-in and moving-out mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out-of-control point of computer video and TV video LED display screens. Check the market display function of the market LED display screen. All should meet the requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7. 6.9.7 Vibration test The vibration test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of BG6587.4. Under the condition of vibration frequency 5H-55H-5H and amplitude of 0.19MM, 5IMN scan once, two directions, and scan twice in each direction. After the test, check the moving-in and moving-out mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point of the text LED display screen and the graphic LED display screen. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out-of-control point of the computer video and TV video LED display screen. Check the market display function of the market LED display screen and the graphic LED display screen. All should meet the requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7. 6.9.8 Transportation test The transportation test is carried out on the display unit according to the grade circulation conditions specified in GB6587.6. After the test, the text LED display screen and the graphic LED display screen are checked for the moving in and out mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point. The computer video and TV video LED display screens are checked for animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out-of-control point. The market display function of the market LED display screen is checked. All requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 7 shall be met. For the LED display screens that are mobile and work on vehicles, on-site transportation tests shall be carried out.
6.10 Feasibility test The feasibility test is carried out on the display unit according to the provisions of GB11463. A=20%, B=20%, DM=3.0. It is also allowed to carry out feasibility verification tests according to the contract provisions.
