In this trend where SMD packaged LED display is the mainstream, cob display has not yet achieved the same level of popularity. What is a cob display? It is an LED display that is separated from SMD packaging and adopts COB packaging technology.

The LED display uses cob technology to completely enclose the device in the PCB board. During direct human touch, transportation and installation, it will not be worn, light off, damaged, etc. due to excessive force or uncontrollable force collision. In terms of protection, it has better capabilities than SMD packaged LED display and can withstand 5 times the force of SMD packaged LED display. In addition, unlike LED display (SMD packaging), the spacing of cob display is 1.0mm, which has reached the limit. Cob display is specially customized for 1.0mm and is the future of LED small spacing. This is why cob display has slowly surfaced and become well-known in recent times, that is, it has achieved a smaller spacing. The advantages of display places with strict display requirements in some high-end occasions are more prominent.
